About me
I'm Deputy Pádraig Rice - your TD for Cork South Central.
I live in Ballyphehane and worked previously as a Policy and Research Manager and human rights campaigner.
I have a Law degree from UCC and a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Oxford.
In November 2024, I had the honour of being elected as a TD for Cork South Central.
I ran in the general election because it is time for change. I believe we need to:
🏡 Build more affordable homes
🏥 Fix the healthcare system
👶 Create a new model of public childcare
♿️ Transform disability services
🌱 Take meaningful climate action.
Since my election, my office and I have been working hard to solve the issues you've raised and to support our vibrant and thriving community.
